What we store, what we don't.

Short version: we don't track you, we don't sell anything, and the data you create lives on your device unless you explicitly send it somewhere. Here's the long version.

By default: nothing leaves your device

If you create an estimate and never hit "Send to client," the data stays in your browser's local storage. It's on your phone or laptop, not on our servers. Clearing your browser data clears the estimate. We never see it.

When you send an estimate to a client

The estimate (business info, client info, line items, total) is uploaded to Cloudflare's edge KV storage so the client can open it via the share link. The data is stored at the edge, encrypted in transit, and automatically expires based on the estimate's validity period (default 30 days). After that, the share link stops working and the data is gone.

Pro: license key & email

Pro is sold through Gumroad. When you paste your license key into the app, we call Gumroad's public verify endpoint to confirm it's valid. We do not store your license key. We do capture the email address from your Gumroad purchase (used as the lookup key for cloud draft sync) and store it in your browser's local storage.

Pro: cloud sync of drafts

If you have Pro and have entered your email, your saved drafts are also pushed to Cloudflare KV. Each draft is stored for 7 days and then automatically expires. An index of your draft IDs is stored under a SHA-256 hash of your email (not the email itself) and expires after 30 days. No one with access to our storage can read customer emails from the index.

What we don't collect

• No analytics (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Mixpanel, no Hotjar).
• No advertising trackers (no Facebook pixel, no Google Ads, no retargeting).
• No session recording or heatmaps.
• No third-party fonts beyond Google Fonts (which logs requests to their servers; this is the price of typography on the web).
• No email list. We don't have a newsletter.

What we can't see

Even with full access to our infrastructure, we cannot see:

• Estimates you created and never sent (they're in your browser only).
• Your business or client data unless you sent an estimate through our system.
• Your license key (we never store it).

Cookies & local storage

We use your browser's local storage to save your estimates and app state. We do not set tracking cookies. We do not use third-party cookies. The app uses no cookies at all.

Your rights

Your data is yours. To delete everything:

• Clear your browser's site data for estimatepro.cc, and all your local estimates are gone.
• Sent estimates expire automatically based on the validity period you set.
• For Pro cloud drafts, they expire 7 days after their last save. We don't have a "delete all my cloud data" button because we don't have persistent user accounts — there is nothing to delete beyond the auto-expiring drafts.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we'll update this page. The "last updated" date at the bottom reflects the most recent revision.
